[origin: WO8910572A1] Acoustical signals are transmitted through a section of drill string (30) by cancelling upward moving acoustical noise and by preconditioning the data in recognition of the comb filter characteristics of the drill string. Spaced sensors (52, 54) provide a delayed signal to summer (46) which is combined with a signal from suitable circuitry (28) and then applied to sensors (42, 44) for transmitting an uphole signal having no downward moving noise.

Des signaux acoustiques sont transmis au travers d'un cordon de tubes de forage (30) en supprimant le bruit acoustique montant et en préconditionnant les données en reconnaissance des caractéristiques d'impédance du filtre à peigne du cordon de tubes de forage. Des détecteurs espacés (52, 54) envoient un signal retardé à un additionneur (46); ce signal est combiné à un signal provenant d'un circuit approprié (28) puis il est appliqué à des détecteurs (42, 44) pour transmettre un signal montant dépourvu de bruit descendant.
