The invention relates to a friction pump (1) with an inlet (13), an outlet (14) and a bell-shaped rotor (7), the outside of which, together with a first housing section (2) enclosing the rotor, forms an annular gas delivery duct (20) extending from the inlet to the outlet, the outside of the rotor (7) or the inside of the first housing section (2) being equipped, at least in the area close to the outlet, with a threaded structure (56, 57) and with a second housing section (6) projecting in the chamber (9) formed by the bell-shaped rotor (7), which housing section serves for mounting of the rotor and the drive motor (8); in order to simplify assembly and maintenance work it is proposed that the second housing section (6) and the rotor (7) form a separately attachable unit which can be removed as a whole from the first housing section (2). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Reibungspumpe (1) mit einem Einlaß (13), einem Auslaß (14) und einem glockenförmigen Rotor (7), dessen Außenseite gemeinsam mit einem den Rotor umgebenden ersten Gehäuseteil (2) einen ringförmigen, sich vom Einlaß zum Auslaß erstreckenden Gasförderkanal (20) bildet, wobei die Außenseite des Rotors (7) oder die Innenseite des ersten Gehäuseteiles (2) zumindest im auslaßnahen Bereich mit einer Gewindestruktur (56, 57) ausgerüstet sind, sowie mit einem in dem vom glockenförmigen Rotor (7) gebildeten Raum (9) hineinragenden zweiten Gehäuseteil (6), das der Halterung des Rotors und des Antriebsmotors (8) dient; um Montage- und Wartungsarbeiten zu vereinfachen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß der zweite Gehäuseteil (6) und der Rotor (7) eine separat montierbare Einheit bilden, welche als Ganzes aus dem ersten Gehäuseteil (2) herausnehmbar ist.
