Abstract (en)
In a process for preparing flat textile yarns made of polyester, a one-stage operation comprises cooling a multifilament yarn by means of a rotating roll (3) and winding it onto a winder (8) at from 4,000 to 6,000 m/min. The process makes it possible to prepare flat yarns over a wide count range by simply varying the roll parameters. The process is simple and economical to carry out. The resulting flat yarn can be processed directly into textile fabrics.

In einem Verfahren zur Herstellung von textilen Glattgarnen aus Polyestern wird in einem Einstufenverfahren mittels einer rotierenden Walze (3) ein Filamentfaden abgekühlt und mit 4'000 bis 6'000 m/min auf einem Spuler (8) aufgewickelt. Das Verfahren ermöglicht die Herstellung von Glattgarnen in einem grossen Titerbereich durch einfache Variation der Walzenparameter. Das Verfahren ist einfach und wirtschaftlich durchzuführen. Das resultierende Glattgarn kann direkt zu textilen Flächengebilden verarbeitet werden.
