Combinations of cellulose powder (mean particle size less than 50 mu m) and anionic cellulose brighteners and also, if appropriate, coating pigments are outstandingly suitable for the whitening of paper coating compositions. The papers obtained with these show improved light-fastness in addition to an excellent brightening effect.

Kombinationen von Cellulosepulver (mittlere Teilchengröße kleiner als 50 µm) und anionischen Celluloseaufhellern sowie gegebenenfalls Streichpigmenten eignen sich hervorragend zum Weißtönen von Papierstreichmassen. Die damit erhaltenen Papiere zeigen neben einem ausgezeichneten Aufhelleffekt eine verbesserte Lichtechtheit.
