Fire extinguishing device for gaseous fire-extinguishing agents with a centralised fire alarm system which in the event of a fire alarm being reported initially issues an alarm in the extinguishing area and, after a subsequent delay, triggers the flooding of the extinguishing area with the extinguishing agent. In the event of a fire alarm being reported, a pneumatic and an electrical delay element are driven in parallel by the central control system. Both delay elements are essentially set to the same delay time, their output signals being combined in the manner of an AND logic connection to form a trigger signal for the flow of the extinguishing agent. The impulse for the pneumatic delay element is derived from a pneumatic signal which is triggered by the central control system, serves to activate pneumatic horns and is also directed towards extinguishing area valves which in each case activate an extinguishing area. The associated horn and the associated extinguishing area valve are activated by the central control system in each case under individual control for the respective extinguishing area. <IMAGE>

Feuerlöschanlage für gasförmige Löschmittel mit einer Brandmeldezentrale, die im Falle einer Brandmeldung zunächst einen Alarm im Lösch bereich und nach anschließender Verzögerungszeit die Flutung des Löschbereichs mit dem Löschmittel (53-55) auslöst. Von der Zentrale (Z) werden im Falle der Brandmeldung (1-3) ein pneumatisches (31) und ein elektrisches (41) Verzögerungsglied parallel angesteuert. Beide Verzögerungsglieder sind im wesentlichen auf die gleiche Verzögerungszeit eingestellt, ihre Ausgangssignale sind nach Art einer Und-Verknüpfung zu einem Auslösesignal für den Durchfluß des Löschmittels zusammengefaßt. Der Anstoß für das pneumatische Verzögerungsglied wird von einem von der Zentrale ausgelösten, zur Aktivierung von pneumatischen Hupen (19-21) dienenden, pneumatischen Signal abgeleitet, aus außerdem zu Löschbereichsventilen (25-27) geleitet wird, die jeweils einen Löschbereich freigeben. Von der Zentrale werden individuell gesteuert jeweils für den betreffenden Löschbereich die zugehörige Hupe und das zugehörige Löschbereichsventil aktiviert. <IMAGE>
