[origin: EP0409311A1] The winding machine comprises a supporting central drive tube (1), winding reels (2), equipped with self-locking system (3) for receiving reeling mandrels (4), disposed in succession around the suporting central drive tube, the said reels (2) each being connected to this tube via a magnetic coupling (16), (17), (18) disposed inside the said tube and connected, on the one hand, rigidly to this tube (1) and, on the other hand, to the reel (2) in which the linkage between the magnetic coupling (16), (17), (18) and the reel (2) is provided via a speed-multiplying device (6), (6'), (6''), (13) which is also disposed in the supporting central drive tube (1). The winding machine enables a series of machine widths cut out in the web material to be reeled up and this is done with controlled winding tensions. <IMAGE>
