Abstract (en)

A clothes iron wherein the iron base 11 is generally circular in shape, the base 11 having a generally planar surface 13 circumscribed by a curved periphery 15, the base being surmounted by a handle 12 extending upwardly therefrom, and the handle 12 is generally bulbous in shape and coaxial with the base 11 so that an operator's hand can be applied to the handle over a wide range of angles and direction with only limited articulation of wrist and forearm.
