[origin: US5111652A] In order to receive the cutting jet (20) in a machine to cut a sheet material by a fluid jet, the present invention provides a mobile receptacle (10) in which this jet is destroyed by one or several counter-jets (34) delivered by nozzles (32). The fluids are evacuated by a conduit of pipes (36). This disposition makes it possible to significantly extend the lifetime of the receptacle and authorizes the functioning of the latter regardless of the inclination of the cutting jet (20). Stand-by parts (40, 46) receive the jet or counter-jets in the event of any malfunction. In addition, cooling means (52, 59) make it possible to eliminate the heat and mist formed by the cutting and via the impact of the jets.

Pour recevoir le jet de coupe (20) dans une machine de découpage d'un matériau en feuille par jet fluide, il est proposé un réceptacle mobile (10), dans lequel ce jet est détruit par un ou plusieurs contre-jets (34) délivrés par des buses (32). Les fluides sont évacués par une canalisation (36). Cet agencement permet d'allonger considérablement la durée de vie du réceptacle et autorise le fonctionnement de ce dernier quelle que soit l'inclinaison du jet de coupe (20). Des pièces de sécurité (40,46) reçoivent le jet ou les contre-jets en cas de fonctionnement défectueux. En outre, des moyens de refroidissement (52,59) permettent d'éliminer la chaleur et le brouillard formé par la découpe et par l'impact des jets.
