The technical problem is to provide a rising fitting which makes do with few parts and which at the same time works reliably and in a functionally safe way. The two hinges (2, 3) are equipped with a ball joint (7, 14). The line of projection of the straight lines connecting the ball-joint centres of the two hinges onto the horizontal plane intersects the gate surface at an angle of 45 DEG .
