[origin: EP0410020A1] For the cleaning of bobbin containers (8) and, where appropriate, also anti-ballooning devices of a two-for-one twisting spindle of a two-for-one twisting machine, the invention relates to a cleaning apparatus (23) which contains cleaning members (46) which are mounted on a motor-driven vertical shaft (42), are adjustable preferably in the radial direction and are preferably in the form of brush strips (58) and which can be lowered into a bobbin container (8) and, where appropriate, into an anti-ballooning device of a two-for-one twisting spindle, each cleaning apparatus (23) preferably being assigned a suction device (59) for sucking off air laden with dust or dirt particles.
