[origin: EP0410070A2] The leaf (2) is supported on an underframe (3). The underframe (3) has a horizontal support (4) on two legs (5) which, in turn, stand on feet (53). At the top and bottom the support (4) has in each case a longitudinally extending support groove (41), in which clamps (6) engage from the top and bottom. These clamps (6) hold extension arms (65) which, in turn, support the leaf (2). This allows a table collection to be constructed in an easy-to-assemble manner from few components. With the said or special clamps, other parts can also be mounted on the support. Additionally, further accessories can also be mounted in the T-shaped grooves (which can also be provided on the legs (5)). Each of the feet (53) can be screwed onto the leg (5) by a foot plate having an extension (541). A levelling screw (542), with which unevenness in the floor can be compensated, can be provided in a threaded borehole of the extension (541). At its free end, the foot (53) can have a pair of rollers (56) which can be rotatable for easy movement of the working table (1) or can also be blocked. The pair of rollers (56) can be adjustable in height. Symmetrical tables can also be constructed in a similar manner. The versatile, rational possibility of providing an efficient range of tables, if appropriate in combination with other furniture, is advantageous. <IMAGE>
