Abstract (en)
In the case of a fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines in which a valve arrangement (6) is provided between the working chamber (2) of the pump piston (3) and the injection line (17), which arrangement contains a spring-loaded non-return valve (23) opening in the feed direction and a spring-loaded valve (10) permitting a return flow of fuel from the injection line (17) to the working chamber (2), the valve permitting a return flow is formed by a piston slide (10) carried in a cylinder bore (9) of the valve disc (7) of the valve (23) opening in the feed direction. The piston slide (10) has radial bores (11) which connect openly with the injection line (17) and are slid over by a control edge (13) of the cylinder bore (9) after a predetermined stroke (22) of the piston slide (10). In this way constant volume relief first occurs followed by constant pressure relief of the injection line (17). The valve arrangement (6) is assembled into a separate, pre-adjustable unit, which can be installed between the section (1) containing the working chamber (2) and the valve cap section (4) of the injection pump. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe für Einspritzbrennkraftmaschinen, bei welcher zwischen dem Arbeitsraum (2) des Pumpenkolbens (3) und der Einspritzleitung (17) eine Ventilanordnung (6) vorgesehen ist, welche ein in Förderrichtung öffnendes federbelastetes Rückschlagventil (23) und ein eine Rückströmung von Kraftstoff aus der Einspritzleitung (17) zum Arbeitsraum (2) gestattendes federbelastetes Ventil (10) beinhaltet, ist das eine Rückströmung gestattende Ventil von einem in einer Zylinderbohrung (9) des Ventiltellers (7) des in Förderrichtung öffnenden Ventils (23) geführten Kolbenschieber (10) gebildet. Der Kolbenschieber (10) weist radiale Bohrungen (11) auf, die mit der Einspritzleitung (17) in offener Verbindung stehen und von einer Steuerkante (13) der Zylinderbohrung (9) nach einem vorbestimmten Hub (22) des Kolbenschiebers (10) überschliffen werden. Auf diese Weise erfolgt zuerst eine Gleichraumentlastung und dann eine Gleichdruckentlastung der Einspritzleitung (17). Die Ventilanordnung (6) ist zu einer selbständigen, vorjustierbaren Baueinheit zusammengefaßt, welche zwischen dem den Arbeitsraum (2) enthaltenden Teil (1) und dem Ventilverschraubungsteil (4) der Einspritzpumpe einbaubar ist.
