[origin: JPH0359923A] PURPOSE: To transmit/recei a radiation in a desired optional direction by constructing a transmitter to radiate at least four different selecting signals according to the inclination of a housing and attaching the same to the housing. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of inclination switches 7, 8 and 9 and an evaluation circuit 10 for forming a transmission element 4, a transmitter 5, a push button 6 and a function selector 17 are provided on a circuit board 3 connected to a transmitter housing 1. If one or more of the inclination switches 7, 8 and 9 are provided on the circuit board 3 of a remote control transmitter such that operation lines 15 thereof direct different directions, the selector 17 identifies the inclination of the remote control transmitter from a horizontal position as a reference operation position therefor from its output signal regarding all inclining movements for controlling a remote controlled electric device. Thus, no receiver for direct selection is needed for receiving its signal.

Ein Fernbedienungsgeber weist eine Funktionswähleinrichtung (17) zum Ausgeben von Wahlsignalen abhängig von einer durch Betätigen derselben gewählten Funktion auf. Das Wählen einer Funktion erfolgt durch Neigen der Funktionswähleinrichtung. Diese verfügt über optisch arbeitende Neigungsschalter. Hierzu ist ein Kugelführungsgehäuse (50) mit fünf Kugelruheorten ausgebildet, d. h. Orten, in denen eine Kugel (K) innerhalb eines vorgegebenen Neigungsbereichs jeweils eine stabile Lage einnimmt. An einem der Kugelruheorte ist ein Lichtsender (D) montiert, während sich an anderen Kugelruheorten Lichtempfänger (P1 - P3) befinden. Von den Lichtempfängern wird ein Mehr-Bit-Signal ausgegeben, wobei die verschiedenen Bitfolgen verschiedenen Wahlsignalen entsprechen. Ein Fernbedienungsgeber mit einer derartigen Funktionswähleinrichtung ist sehr einfach und billig herstellbar und funktioniert dennoch sehr zuverlässig. An dem zu steuernden Gerät sind keine Detektoren erforderlich, die die jeweilige Neigungslage des Fernbedienungsgebers ermitteln.
