[origin: EP0410253A2] In a device for data acquisition, control and display of measurement values in quality control on a printing machine, the printed sheet, lying on a sampling bench, is scanned with a video camera for integrating work sequences and for improving work quality and operation. The data are stored in a store for digital image data. At the sampling bench, measuring devices for acquiring quality data of the printed image are arranged and provided with markings. A light source is provided in parallel with the video camera both for displaying data and as guiding device for the measuring devices. Between the video camera and the light source, one or more systems for image evaluation, particularly for pattern recognition, are provided which utilise the data of the memory for the image data. Colorimetry devices, registration measuring devices or hand scanners, that is to say small-format scanners which are manually moved over the area to be scanned, can be considered as measuring devices.
