Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0410281A2] A push cap (24) is inserted into the housing (1) from the front such that it can be displaced axially about a switching path (S). Under the push cap (24) there is a reflector (27) for a light source (46) which can be plugged into plug contacts (48) in connector sockets (52, 53) on the housing side. In order to simplify assembly, it is proposed that the push cap (24) and the reflector (27) be fixedly connected to one another and have a guide (28, 54, 55, 56), which is parallel to the housing axis and whose length is at least equal to the switching path (S). Furthermore, the light source (46) can be inserted into the guide (28, 54, 55, 56) with corresponding complementary guide parts (47), and can be pushed into the housing (1) together with the push cap (24). At the same time, the plug contacts (48) are pushed into the connector sockets (52, 53). <IMAGE>
