[origin: EP0410354A1] A method for processing a silver halide color photographic material comprising the steps of color developing, bleach-fixing, and washing with water and/or stabilization is disclosed, wherein a spent bleach-fix bath is regenerated by addition of a regenerant and reused as a regenerated bleach-fix replenisher, photographic layers of said silver halide color photographic material has a degree of swelling of from about 2.5 to 4.0, and said silver halide color photographic material has a silver coverage of not more than about 0.80 g/m<2>. The method allows the repeated reuse of pregenerated bleach-fix bath with little or no desilvering, poor color reproduction or cyan thermal discoloration.
