Abstract (en)

An agent for desulphurisation, magnesium treatment and inoculation of cast iron melts in a single working step is described which is based on a silicon alloy and has the following composition:   silicon                    30 to 80 % by weight   magnesium                   5 to 30 % by weight   calcium                   0.1 to 25 % by weight   bismuth                   0.1 to 2 % by weight   cerium mixed metal        0.1 to 5 % by weight   iron as the remainder.

Es wird ein Mittel zum Entschwefeln, Magnesiumbehandeln und Impfen von Gußeisenschmelzen in einem einzigen Arbeitsgang auf Basis einer Silicium-Legierung beschrieben, welches folgende Zusammensetzung aufweist: Silicium, 30 bis 80 Gew.-%; Magnesium, 5 bis 30 Gew.-%; Calcium, 0,1 bis 25 Gew.-%; Wismut, 0,1 bis 2 Gew.-%; Cer-Mischmetall, 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-%; Eisen als, Rest.
