[origin: US5052063A] The present invention discloses a variable and articulated suspension fixing system, particularly for beds or seats, comprising a suspension and articulation piece (2), a first means (4A, 4B) for securing the suspension piece (2) to the frame (1) of the mattress or seat, a second means (51, 52) for securing the slat (3) to the suspension piece (2), said suspension piece (2) comprising two symmetrical resilient structures (20, 21) in the form of cylindrical tubes parallel to the slat and spaced apart by a distance corresponding to the dimension of the slat portion (30) bearing on this suspension piece (2), the two resilient structures (20, 21) being joined together by a connecting strut (22), characterized in that the connecting strut is connected to the two cylindrical tubes so that the connecting surface is situated inside the volume defined by the vertical planes passing through the axes of symmetry of each cylinder.

La présente invention concerne un système de fixation à suspension variable et articulation, notamment pour literie ou sièges, comportant une pièce de suspension et d'articulation (2), un premier moyen (4A,4B) de solidarisation de la pièce de suspension (2) sur le cadre (1) du sommier ou du siège, un second moyen (51,52) de solidarisation de la latte (3) sur la pièce de suspension (2), ladite pièce de suspension (2) comprenant deux structures élastiques symétriques (20,21) en forme de tubes cylindriques parallèles à la latte et espacés d'un intervalle correspondant à la dimension de la partie (30) de latte appuyant sur la pièce de suspension (2), les deux structures élastiques (20,21) étant reliées entre elles par une entretoise de liaison (22), caractérisé en ce que l'entretoise de liaison est reliée aux deux tubes cylindres de façon que la surface de liaison soit située à l'intérieur du volume délimité par les plans verticaux passant par les axes de symétrie de chaque cylindre.
