Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0410877A1] The composition of matter for the chemical and biological purification of contaminated waters is intended to be spread in the water to be purified. This composition comprises at least the following two inorganic materials in granular form: - a porous calcium carbonate rich in oligoelements, - an alumina silicate hydrate containing alkaline-earth metals. These two materials contain in the adsorbed state specific bacteria for the biological degradation of organic materials containing a carbon chain. Use for improving the efficiency of the purification of polluted waters.
