To improve the electrical endurance of a low-voltage circuit-breaker for high currents, having multiple contacts of equal lengths, and a fixed arc-guidance horn (20) equipped with an intermediate flange (60) extending over a short distance in the direction of movement of the frontal extensions (58) of the contact fingers, there is formed, in the gap between the flange (60) and the fixed main contact (24), a fixed arc contact (64) intended to cooperate with the moving arc contact (62) of at least one contact finger (34). At the start of the opening travel, the closing of the arc contacts (62, 64) takes place before separation of the main contacts (24, 56). The fixed arc contact (64) is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the flange (60). <IMAGE>

Pour améliorer l'endurance électrique d'un disjoncteur basse tension à fortes intensités ayant des contacts multiples de mêmes longueurs et une corne (20) fixe de guidage d'arc équipée d'un rebord (60) intermédiaire s'étendant sur une courte distance dans la direction de déplacement des extensions (58) frontales des doigts de contacts, on ménage dans l'intervalle entre le rebord (60) et le contact principal fixe (24), un contact d'arc fixe (64) destiné à coopérer avec un contact d'arc mobile (62) d'au moins un doigt de contact (34). Au début de la course d'ouverture, la fermeture des contacts d'arc (62,64) s'opère avant la séparation des contacts principaux (24,56). Le contact d'arc fixe (64) est disposé au voisinage immédiat du rebord (60).
