[origin: JPH03187855A] PURPOSE: To provide a device having a cap with a specified defining position in respect to a tube by a method wherein each of means for longitudinal insertion, snap-on means and sealing means on the base and the neck carries out an insertion of a full cross-sectional part, a forced insertion of the sealing means into the neck and the snap-on operation to cause the base to be pushed onto the neck. CONSTITUTION: A cap base 4 is well centered and pushed onto a neck of container due to the fact that its edge 20 is slid with a certain clearance being left around a guide portion 8. Then, a fin 18 is gradually widened and its biting into the top part of the lock section 9 is started. Fitting of the fin is facilitated with a chamfered section 10 and it reaches the maximum biting force or it is reaching this value. Then, biting of the biting fin 18 at the lock section 9 is carried out well when a forced insertion of the sealing ring 16 into an orifice 6 is promoted and an inserting force caused by the snap-on effect is not yet produced. Lastly, the sealing ring 16 is well fitted into the orifice 6 and the biting fin 18 merely performs a sliding motion within either the recess or the slit and the pushing of the cap base 4 into the neck 2 can be carried out smoothly.
