Abstract (en)
A sectional door possesses door sections (10, 11) which are continuous over the width of the door aperture and each extend over only a fraction of the height of the door aperture and which are connected to the adjacent door sections via hinges (12) and are guided by means of running rollers (13) or sliding pieces in guide rails (4 - 8) which have longitudinal legs (4), extending next to the side edges of the door aperture, and legs (6, 9) which adjoin said longitudinal legs by means of arcuate transition pieces (5, 8) and which extend above the upper edge of the door aperture into the room interior. In order by simple means to make it possible, without a loss of safety, to ventilate the room closed off by the door, there are provided for the upper running rollers (13) of the uppermost door section (10), above the arcuate transition pieces of the guide rails (4-6), separate guide-rail portions (7) which guide the uppermost door section into and out of the closed position and of which the end pieces (8) located at the side of the door aperture form switches (8, 15) which, with the door remaining closed, can be swung down into a position guiding the uppermost door section (11) on its guide rollers into a ventilation position. <IMAGE>

Ein Sektionaltor besitzt über die Breite der Toröffnung durchgehende und je nur über einen Bruchteil der Höhe der Toröffnung reichende Torfelder (10, 11), die mit den anschließenden Torfeldern über Scharniere (12) verbunden und mit Laufrollen (13) oder Gleitstücken in Führungsschienen (4 - 8) geführt sind, die neben den Seitenrändern der Toröffnung verlaufende Längsschenkel (4) und mit bogenförmigen Übergangsstücken (5,8) an diese anschließende, oberhalb des oberen Toröffnungsrandes ins Rauminnere reichende Schenkel (6, 9) aufweisen. Um mit einfachen Mitteln ohne Sicherheitsverlust eine Belüftung des vom Tor abgeschlossenen Raumes zu ermöglichen, sind für die oberen Laufrollen (13) des obersten Torfeldes (10) oberhalb der bogenförmigen Übergangsstücke der Führungsschienen (4 - 6) gesonderte, das oberste Torfeld in die und aus der Schließstellung leitende Führungsschienenabschnitte (7) vorgesehen, deren toröffnungsseitige Endstücke (8) Weichen (8, 15) bilden, die bei geschlossen bleibendem Tor in ehe das oberste Torfeld (11) an seinen Führungsrollen in eine Lüftungsstellung leitende Stellung abschwenkbar sind.
