Abstract (en)
The method provides for a ''thermocycling'' by multiple heating and cooling carried out within the temperature interval between the martensite transformation starting point and the melting point, that is between 160 DEG and 1305 DEG C, the steel being precooled up to 1000-1100 DEG C during the cooling cycles; hardening by means of cooling down from a temperature exceeding the polymorphic transformation temperature to which the steel is heated during the last cycle of the thermocycling; and tempering.

L'invention concerne le ''thermocyclage'' par chauffage et refroidissement multiple, mis en oeuvre dans l'intervalle de température situé entre le point de transformation martensitique et le point de fusion, c'est-à-dire entre 160° et 1305°C, l'acier étant prérefroidi jusqu' à 1000 à 1100°C, pendant les cycles de refroidissement; le durcissement par refroidissement à partir d'une température dépassant la température de transformation polymorphe à laquelle l'acier est chauffé pendant le dernier cycle du thermocyclage, et le revenu.
