[origin: US5046424A] A fuze for a bomblet projectile, with the fuze being of the type including a fuze housing, an axially displaceable firing pin mounted in the housing, a slide carrying a detonation charge mounted in the housing and displaceable transverse to the longitudinal direction of the housing between a safety position and an armed position, and spin braking fins pivotally mounted on the exterior of the fuze housing. To provide a further safety measure for the bomblet fuze and to ensure pendulum-free spin braking for safe detonation, the slide is provided with a safety pin and the fuze housing is provided with a corresponding opening such that the safety pin is in operative connection adjacent the opening with a spin braking fin if the latter is not deployed, and thus the slide can be arrested in its safety position. At least two spin braking fins are mounted on holding pins on the fuze housing so that the spin braking fins are pivotal transversely to the longitudinal axis of the projectile and in a direction opposite to the direction of the flow of air caused by spin of the projectile.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Zünder für ein Bombletgeschoß mit axial verschiebbarer Zündnadel (20) und quer zur Geschoßlängsrichtung verschiebbarem Schieber (16) mit Detonatorladung, und mit außen am Zündergehäuse (10) schwenkbar gelagerten Drallbremsflügeln (32). Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine weitere unabhängige Sicherungsmöglichkeit des Bombletzünders anzugeben und eine pendelfreie Drallabbremsung für eine sichere Zündfunktion zu gewährleisten. Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst durch die Anordnung eines Sicherungsstiftes (62) auf dem Schieber (16) und eine dazu korrespondierende Öffnung (64) im Zündergehäuse (10), wobei der Sicherungsstift (62) in Sicherungsstellung des Schiebers (16) mit einem nicht ausgeklappten Drallbremsflügel (32) in Wirkverbindung steht und dadurch der Schieber (16) in seiner Sicherungsposition arretierbar ist. Dabei sind wenigstens zwei Drallbremsflügel (32) bei einem mit Rechtsdrall verschossenen Bombletgeschoß rechtsseitig oder bei einem mit Linksdrall verschossenen Bombletgeschoß linksseitig derart verschwenkbar an Haltebolzen (66) am Zündergehäuse (10) gelagert, daß die Drallbremsflügel (32) quer zur Geschoßlängsachse entgegen der Luftanströmrichtung (74) verschwenkbar sind. <IMAGE>
