[origin: EP0411253A2] For manufacturing grinding tools (1, 7) coated with extra hard grinding particles (3), instead of a basic body of steel a commercially available grinding tool of corresponding shape and size of a ceramic material is used as the basic body. This is brushed with an adhesive (4) at the points to be coated, the grinding particles (3) are applied and pressed in the pores (5) of the ceramic material (6); finally, the adhesive (4) is allowed to set. <IMAGE>
