Abstract (en)

[origin: US5046468A] Inductive rotary emitter for controlling the instant of ignition of internal combustion engines, has a coil with a permanent magnet core and a yoke wheel turned by a shaft. Circumferentially distributed projecting, spaced, tooth-like segments on the yoke wheel are moved past the magnet poles for voltage induction. Tangentially adjacent tooth segments are at differently spaced intervals from one another.
