[origin: EP0411366A2] To produce a twice-cut folded product in DIN A5 format which is provided with a transverse fold at the longitudinal edge, the cutting and pointing cylinder (12), which is downstream of the pointing and folding blade cylinder (7), is provided with folding blades (21) and a pointing delivery cylinder (13), fitted with folding flaps (23), is arranged downstream of the cutting and pointing cylinder (12). By this means, the folded copies, which were cut once on the circumference of the cutting and pointing cylinder (12), can be cut a second time and provided with a transverse fold in addition to the first longitudinal fold.
