Der Maschinenschraubstock besitzt eine Einrichtung, mit der es möglich ist, die Mittelebene (39) relativ zur Grundplatte (46) des Maschinenschraubstocks zu justieren. Dabei umfaßt der Maschinenschraubstock vorzugsweise eine Ausbildung, bei der für jede der Spannbacken (4,5) ein Kraftverstärker vorgesehen ist, der von der gemeinsamen Kurbel (6) angetrieben werden kann.
