Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0411656A1] Woven sheet material for use as interlining in the shirts sector, consisting of sheet-forming warp and weft threads which consist of synthetic material, the weft yarn consisting at least in part of crimped yarns. The ready-woven fabric is then coated in dot fashion with a heat-sealable adhesive composition based on copolyesters and/or high density polyethylene in a dot pattern with a dot density of 600 - 1400 dots/inch<2>. The invention likewise encompasses coloured, marked and flameproofed interlinings. <??>The coating with heat-sealable adhesive compositions can be carried out in dot fashion using any known application technique. It is also contemplated to follow the coating operation with a calendering operation. <IMAGE>
