[origin: EP0412023A1] An isolating module (10) can be adapted to the front face (12) of a modular circuit-breaker in order to prevent access to the handle (18). It comprises a locking sleeve (42) having a detector (48) of the position of the handle (18). The padlocking or sealing of the sleeve (42) is enabled when the handle (18) is in the opening position. In the contacts-united condition, padlocking is impossible. The position of the handle can be viewed through a transparent porthole (38) in the cover (22). <IMAGE>
