The invention relates to a device for mechanically assembling sealing bushes of elastic material on an electrical cable for waterproof plug designs or the like, having a manipulator rotatable about an axis of rotation and with receiving orifices for sealing bushes, and having a gripper device in the region of the manipulator for grasping and holding an electrical cable, the manipulator conveying sealing bushes in front of the end of the electrical cable held in the gripper, and means being provided for attaching the sealing bush to the cable, there being arranged next to the manipulator, underneath and on each of the two sides, a linear conveyor, in which sealing bushes are fed in a row from respective supply containers, by means of oscillator conveying devices known per se, to a sealing-bush loading appliance which has in each case an orifice for catching a sealing bush, and under each of the orifices there is a lifting device, by means of which a sealing bush can be pressed upwards out of an orifice into a receiving device of the manipulator, the manipulator having a bearing block, in which is inserted a rearwardly projecting rotary shaft driven to pivot in the direction of the double arrow, a bevel gearwheel being rotatably mounted above two adjacent side faces of the bearing block, at a respective distance from these, on a rotary shaft arranged perpendicularly to the side faces and inserted firmly in the bearing block, and the bevel gear wheels meshing with a stationary bevel gear wheel which is arranged on a fixed part of the device.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum maschinellen Aufbringen von Dichtungsstopfen aus elastischem Material auf eine elektrische Leitung für wassergeschützte Steckerausführungen oder dergleichen, mit einem um eine Drehachse drehbaren Manipulator mit Aufnahmeöffnungen für Dichtungsstopfen, sowie mit einer Zangeneinrichtung im Bereich des Manipulators zum Erfassen und Haltern einer elektrischen Leitung, wobei der Manipulator Dichtungsstopfen vor das Ende der in der Zange gehaltenen elektrischen Leitung befördert und Mittel zum Aufbringen des Dichtungsstopfens auf die Leitung vorgesehen sind, wobei unter und beidseits neben dem Manipulator je ein Linearförderer angeordnet ist, in dem Dichtungsstopfen in einer Reihe aus jeweils einem Vorratsbehälter mittels an sich bekannter Schwingfördereinrichtungen einer Dichtungsstopfenladevorrichtung zugeführt wird, die jeweils eine Öffnung zum Einfangen eines Dichtungsstopfens aufweist, und unter den Öffnungen jeweils eine Hubeinrichtung vorgesehen ist, mit der ein Dichtungsstopfen aus einer Öffnung nach oben in eine Aufnahmeeinrichtung des Manipulators gedrückt werden kann und daß der Manipulator einen Lagerblock aufweist, in dem eine nach hinten ragende, in Doppelpfeilrichtung schwenkend angetriebene Drehwelle steckt, wobei über zwei benachbarten Seitenflächen des Lagerblocks jeweils im Abstand davon drehbar an einer senkrecht zu den Seitenflächen angeordneten, im Lagerblock feststeckenden Drehwelle ein Kegelzahnrad lagert und die Kegelzahnräder mit einem stillstehenden Kegelzahnrad kämmen, das an einem festen Teil der Vorrichtung angeordnet ist.
