[origin: EP0412360A1] The washing stand has washing-line loops (16) which are laid along its supporting arms (7) and the mutual spacing of which differs in size. Appropriately, larger spacings (17) are provided for the upper, outer washing-line loops (16), whilst the lower, inner washing-line loops (16) are arranged at smaller spacings (17). The different spacings (17) between the washing-line loops (16) ensure an increase in the total washing-line length. <IMAGE>
