Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0412374A2] In the known command switch having a key rose (1), next to a switching insert (3), which can be rotated to actuate it from an "off" position to an "on" position and which can be pulled off in the "off" position, is a further switching insert which is closed or opened when a key is introduced, with the result that the introduced position of the key can be indicated. The key has to be withdrawn here, to ensure that the switching action of the switching insert and therefore the indication are initiated. In this embodiment, the actuation of the further switching insert takes place via an extension plunger located on the bottom of the cylinder in the key rose (1), that is to say the switching insert is actuated only in the fully introduced position. The command switch is to be improved to the effect that an actuation of the additional switching insert (2) is associated with the key (6) introduced in any position, that is to say self-retained. This is achieved in that the key rose (1) has, in the region of the introduction orifice (4) for the key (6), an actuating element (5) for the second switching insert and the introduction orifice (4) is so designed that the key (6) is retained in the key rose (1), without external assistance, only in a position having a minimum depth of introduction, in which an actuation of the further switching insert is guaranteed. <IMAGE>
