[origin: EP0412429A2] In false-twist crimping machines, the yarn is guided along a heating body (1) by means of a plurality of yarn guides (2). The temperature of the heating body is substantially higher than the target temperature of the yarn. The yarn guides are arranged on a zigzag line (34) which extends along the heating body.
