Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH03102006A] PURPOSE: To stack hard offset plates by constituting a stacker from a device for feeding the offset plates from storage drums to storage units and a drum loader for inserting them from a feeding device to the storage drums, in a stacker such as an offset transporting machine. CONSTITUTION: Respective storage units 13, 14 are arranged one above the other and provided with independently rotating storage drums 4, and a feeding device 1 is arranged between the units 13, 14. This feeding device 1 is vertically moved, and a printing plate 2 is held by a pair of suspending clips 3 and conveyed. When the feeding device 1 delivers the printing plate 2 to a drum loader 5, the drum loader 5 inserts the printing plate 2 into a storage chamber 6 of the storage drum 4. By this structure, stacking of hard printing plates 2 can be performed.
