[origin: WO8910625A1] A problem encountered in flat-panel television picture tubes is that after evacuation of the picture tube, the panel (2) is deformed concavely. To avoid this, it is proposed to use a panel (2) which is curved convexly prior to being joined to the funnel (1) and prior to the evacuation.

Lors de l'utilisation de tubes cathodiques à fond plat, la déformation concave de la plaque de fond (2) qui se produit après l'application du vide dans le tube cathodique constitue un problème. Pour éviter cette déformation, la présente invention propose d'utiliser une plaque de fond (2) à laquelle on donne une courbure convexe avant de la joindre à l'entonnoir (1) et avant l'application du vide.
