Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9009341A1] The invention concerns a device for erecting and aligning a tilting telescopic mast (2) mounted on a transport vehicle (11). Said mast can be raised, by means of one or more hydraulic jacks (15), from the horizontal or approximately horizontal transport position, in a vertical plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the transport vehicle (11), into the vertical position of the mast (2) in this plane. The device possesses facilities for supporting the telescopic mast (2) on the ground in a vertical plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the transport vehicle (11) in the form of vertically adjustable supporting extension arms (5). The device is characterized in that it comprises: a) a supporting frame (1) for the telescopic mast (2) connected in a vertically adjustable manner to the vehicle chassis (3) by means of three lifting elements (4); b) four supporting extension arms (5) mounted on the supporting frame (1) each of which can be swivelled out and lowered by actuating only one drawgear.
