Abstract (en)
The deburring of plastic workpieces, in particular thermosetting fibre composites, has hitherto been carried out mainly by means of manually guided vibratory grinders which have an abrasive belt as a deburring tool. In particular in order to improve the efficiency and with regard to the desired automation of deburring operations, it is proposed that the abrasive belt (10a), which can be drawn off from a supply roller (10), be partly supported on a pressure shoe (1), and that the supply roller (10) as well as the flexibly mounted pressure shoe be attached to a supporting part (4). Behind the working area (1b) of the abrasive belt - as viewed in the direction of its draw-off movement (arrow 18) from the supply roller - the supporting part (4) is equipped with a stepping mechanism (8) which also exerts a clamping action and via which the abrasive belt can be drawn off section by section from the supply roller and, replacing the used belt section, can be guided subsequently into the working area. <IMAGE>

Das Entgraten von Werkstücken aus Kunststoff, insbesondere duroplastischem Faserverbundwerkstoff, ist bisher überwiegend mittels von Hand geführter Schwingschleifer ausgeführt worden, welche als Entgratwerkzeug ein Schleifband aufweisen. Insbesondere zur Verbesserung der Wirtschaftlichkeit und im Hinblick auf die wünschenswerte Automatisierung von Entgratvorgängen wird der Vorschlag unterbreitet, das von einer Vorratsrolle (10) abziehbare Schleifband (10 a) teilweise an einem Andrückschuh (1) abzustützen und die Vorratsrolle ebenso wie den federnd gehaltenen Andrückschuh an einem Tragteil (4) anzubringen. Dieser ist - in Richtung der Abziehbewegung (Pfeil 18) des Schleifbandes von der Vorratsrolle gesehen - hinter dessen Arbeitsbereich (1 b) mit einem auch eine Klemmwirkung ausübenden Schrittschaltwerk (8) ausgestattet, über welches das Schleifband abschnittweise von der Vorratsrolle abziehbar und, den benutzten Bandabschnitt ersetzend, in den Arbeitsbereich nachführbar ist.
