[origin: WO8910909A1] The resistance of high-Tc? ceramic superconductors, such as YBa2?Cu3?Ox?, to environmental influences is appreciably increased by the introduction of hydrophobic surface-protecting groups. To this end, the superconductor material is subjected to a brief preliminary treatment with water and then treated in (CH3?)SiCl or a similar material.

La résistance de supraconducteurs céramiques à haute température Tc, comme YBa2Cu3Ox, contre les influences du milieu, notamment l'humidité, est notablement accrue par l'introduction de groupes protecteurs de surface hydrofuges. Le matériau supraconducteur est à cet effet brièvement prétraité avec de l'eau puis traité dans du (CH3)3SiCl ou un matériau analogue.
