Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0414012A1] The invention relates to a transport apparatus for feeding a plurality of tubes or rolls wound with textile material from a roll-forming machine to a roll-processing machine by means of a transport carriage having a roll receptacle, on which the rolls rest behind one another, as seen in the longitudinal direction, and coaxially with one another at a predetermined spacing. In the known apparatuses, a plurality of manual actions are necessary in order to carry out the changing operation. That is to say, the empty tubes (20) on the roll-processing machine are manually removed and stored intermediately, before they can be placed manually onto the transport vehicle (1), after the rolls (7) have been attached. The invention therefore provides a transport apparatus which makes it possible to transfer the tubes (20) automatically into a groove (21) of the transport carriage (1), whilst after the release of a lock (22) and therefore the freeing of a tiltable receptacle (6) the rolls (7) are subsequently brought automatically into the reception station of a combing machine (25). <IMAGE>
