Abstract (en)
The process and the device are characterised in that a label band is used, which consists only of the labels arranged in a row without gaps, in that the labels are obtained by a corresponding section being separated from the label band for each label, in that the individual labels thus obtained are then individually one after another adhesively activated on the rear side, by adhesive being applied or inactive adhesive already applied in the label band being activated, and in that the labels thus made adhesive are then individually brought into the labelling position and stuck onto the goods. Gluing takes place only when the label concerned is needed for the associated goods. Reliable adhesion is thus achieved because the label, after it is glued, is applied to the goods without any delay so that the glue has no opportunity to dry beforehand. <IMAGE>

Das Verfahren und die Vorrichtung sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Etikettenband eingesetzt wird, das nur aus den lückenlos aneinandergereihten Etiketten besteht, daß die Etiketten gewonnen werden, indem für jedes Etikett ein entsprechender Abschnitt von dem Etikettenband abgetrennt wird, daß die so gewonnenen einzelnen Etiketten dann einzeln nacheinander rückseitig klebakitiviert werden, indem Klebstoff aufgetragen oder bereits im Etikettenband aufgeschichteter inaktiver Klebstoff aktiviert wird und daß die so klebfähig gemachten Etiketten dann einzeln in die Etikettierposition abgegeben und auf die Ware aufgeklebt werden. Die Beleimung erfolgt erst, wenn das betreffende Etikett für die zugehörige Ware benötigt wird. Eine sichere Klebung wird so erzielt, weil das Etikett, nachdem es beleimt ist, ohne irgendwelchen Aufenthalt auf die Ware gelangt, so dass der Leim keine Gelegenheit findet, vorher anzutrocknen.
