According to the invention, the arrangement comprises a primary support (A) fixed to the structure (5) and a secondary support (C) which can be manipulated by means of a machine, these two supports comprising means which interact for fastening the secondary support (C) onto the primary support (A), and the secondary support (C) comprises means for carrying the tensioning jack (V). According to the method of the invention, a part is fixed to the structure to be prestressed, facing the use position of the jack, and a support capable of carrying the jack in the suitable use position is added to this part. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour positionner un vérin de mise en tension d'un câble de précontrainte d'une structure. Selon l'invention, le dispositif comporte un support primaire (A) fixé à la structure (5), et un support secondaire (C) manipulable au moyen d'un engin ces deux supports comportent des moyens coopérant pour l'accrochage du support secondaire (C) sur le support primaire (A), et le support secondaire (C) comporte des moyens pour porter le vérin de mise en tension (V). Selon le procédé de l'invention, on fixe une pièce à la structure à précontraindre, en vis-à-vis de la position de service du vérin, et on rapporte sur cette pièce un support apte à porter le vérin dans la position de service adéquate.
