The vehicle has an observation window (17) with a diameter (D) within the range 0.3-3.0 m and a curved surface (32). To increase the sensitivity of the passive optical observation system and the ability to detect distant objects, the observation window (17) is part of the passive observation system. The entrance pupil (29) of the observation system has a diameter greater than 0.1 m.
