Abstract (en)

This invention relates to a die set (1,2) for forging the knife-edge of a tapping screw which utilizes a pair of reciprocating concentric positioners (15) to fix a tapping screw in place prior to punch pressing so as to forge a knife-edge of the tapping screw and cooperates with a horizontal punch press to provide mass production for forging the knife-edge of the tapping screw.
