Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0415037A2] The forced draught burner is intended for heating boilers with waste gas recirculation and consists of a housing (1) which is open on the heating boiler side and can be placed on a heating boiler sealing plate (8) and in which a mixing pipe (10) with nozzle connection and a blower wheel (7) are arranged on a shaft (5) of the drive motor, which is perpendicular to the opening plane of the housing (1). The blower wheel (7) is assigned, for conveying air, an air inflow opening (28) in the adjacent wall of the housing (1). The wheel chamber (3) is connected to the interior of the mixing pipe (10). In order to ensure completely separate air and waste gas guidance and conveyance on short paths inside the burner, the latter is designed according to the invention in such a manner that the housing (1) is divided by a partition (6) which is passed through by the nozzle connection (4) and the shaft (5), forming a sealing plate-side waste gas chamber (2) and the wheel chamber (3) extending parallel thereto. In the waste gas chamber (2), a further wheel (7') is arranged on the shaft (5) projecting into the chamber, or connected thereto. The wheel (7') is assigned on the suction side in the heating boiler sealing plate (8) a waste gas suction opening (9). The waste gas chamber (2) is connected to the interior of the mixing pipe (10). <IMAGE>
