Abstract (en)
An ignition distributor for internal combustion engines has a drive shaft (13) for the ignition pulse generator supported in a tubular supporting section (11) of the distributor casing (10), which generator is driven by way of a drive pinion (14) of a worm gear seated on it so that it cannot rotate. In order to absorb the axial forces occurring on the drive shaft (13) an axial bearing (19) is provided which comprises a bearing ring (20) seated on the drive shaft (19) so that it cannot rotate and a support shoulder on the support section (11) acting in concert with the bearing ring (20) together with calibrated spacers (31, 32) for adjusting the axial play. For simple, cost-saving assembly, the bearing ring (20) lies in an annular groove (22) which is introduced from the free end face of the supporting section (11) and the supporting shoulder is formed by a disc-shaped supporting ring (21), which is screwed onto the free end face of the supporting section (11). <IMAGE>

Ein Zündverteiler für Brennkraftmaschinen weist eine in einem rohrförmigen Stützteil (11) des Verteilergehäuses (10) gelagerte Antriebswelle (13) für den Zündimpulsgenerator auf, die über ein auf ihr drehfest sitzendes Antriebsritzel (14) eines Schneckengetriebes angetrieben wird. Zur Aufnahme der an der Antriebswelle (13) auftretenden Axialkräfte ist ein Axiallager (19) vorgesehen, das aus einem auf der Antriebswelle (13) drehfest sitzenden Lagerring (20) und einer mit dem Lagerring (20) zusammenwirkenden Stützschulter am Stützteil (11) sowie kalibrierten Abstandsscheiben (31,32) zur Einstellung des Axialspiels besteht. Für eine einfache kostensparende Montage liegt der Lagerring (20) in einer Ringnut (22) ein, die vom freien Stirnende des Stützteils (11) her eingebracht ist, und die Stützschulter wird von einem scheibenförmigen Stützring (21) gebildet, der auf das freie Stirnende des Stützteils (11) aufgeschraubt ist.
