Abstract (en)
In an electromagnetic stirrer (1) for stirring the molten crater (3), the stirrer (1) is to be improved in such a way that an additional treatment of the cooling water for cooling the stirrer is no longer necessary. It is proposed to dip the stirring coils (4) in the stirrer housing (7) into a first, essentially stationary liquid (8). Abstract (de)
Bei einer elektromagnetischen Rühreinrichtung (1) zum Rühren des flüssigen Strangsumpfes (3) soll der Rührer (1) so verbessert werden, dass eine zusätzliche Aufbereitung des Kühlwassers zum Kühlen des Rührers nicht mehr notwendig ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, die Rührspulen (4) im Rührergehäuse (7) in eine erste, im wesentlichen stationäre Flüssigkeit (8) einzutauchen. Im Bereich dieser ersten Flüssigkeit (8) innerhalb des Rührergehäuses (7) wird ein Kühlrohrsystem für eine zweite Flüssigkeit (10) angeordnet. <IMAGE>
