Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH03117687A] PURPOSE: To reduce the mechanical abrasion of a compression ring by setting a distance between a compression chamber and a seal disc, a position of a stop ring and a stroke of a tappet. CONSTITUTION: When a tappet 21 continues its suction stroke, a though-hole 23 in a metering piston 8 is opened. A metering agent is sucked directly through the through-hole 23 in the metering piston 8 and through a suction valve 5 and the compression chamber 3. The compression chamber 3 is filled with the metering agent, and simultaneously, the metering piston 8 is completely ventilated without being exposed from a piston guide 9 or a compression ring 10. Thus, it is possible to reduce the mechanical abrasion of the compression ring.
