The invention relates to a locking means for a lock, especially a ring lock, which comprises a plug part (14) and a plug-part receptacle (16) having a catch device (22, 24, 30) actuable by a locking mechanism (32). The invention is characterised in that a catch body (22) is received in a guide passage (26) directed transversely relative to the direction of introduction of the plug part (14) and belonging to a catch-body guide element (24) and is located opposite a control surface (30) on its side remote from the introduced plug part (14), in a blocking position of the catch-body guide element (24) the control surface (30) urging the catch body (22) into engagement behind the catch shoulder (20) so as to block the pull-out movement of the plug part (14), furthermore the catch-body guide element (24) being displaceable by the entering plug part (14) by means of the catch body (22) into a first shifted-aside position, in which the catch body (22) is released by the control surface (30) for a shifting-aside movement, and the catch-body guide element (24) being rotatable as a result of the rotation of the locking mechanism (32) into a second shifted-aside position, in which the catch body (22) is released by the control surfaces (30) for a shifting-aside movement allowing the plug part (14) to be pulled out. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schließvorrichtung für ein Schloß, insbesondere Ringschloß, das einen Steckerteil (14) und eine Steckerteilaufnahme (16) mit einer durch ein Schließwerk (32) betätigbaren Rastvorrichtung (22,24,30) umfaßt. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Rastkörper (22) in einem quer zur Einführungsrichtung des Steckerteils (14) gerichteten Führungsdurchgang (26) eines Rastkörperführungselements (24) aufgenommen ist und an seiner von dem eingeführten Steckerteil (14) abgelegenen Seite einer Steuerfläche (30) gegenüberliegt, wobei in einer Sperrstellung des Rastkörperführungselements (24) die Steuerfläche (30) den Rastkörper (22) in einen die Ausziehbewegung des Steckerteils (14) sperrenden Eingriff hinter die Rastschulter (20) drängt, wobei weiter das Rastkörperführungselement (24) unter Vermittlung des Rastkörpers (22) durch den einfahrenden Steckerteil (14) in eine erste Ausweichstellung verschiebbar ist, in welcher der Rastkörper (22) durch die Steuerfläche (30) für eine Ausweichbewegung freigegeben ist, und wobei das Rastkörperführungselement (24) durch Drehen des Schließwerks (32) in eine zweite Ausweichstellung verdrehbar ist, in welcher der Rastkörper (22) durch die Steuerflächen (30) für eine das Ausziehen des Steckerteils (14) gestattende Ausweichbewegung freigegeben ist.
