Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH0379241A] PURPOSE: To remove only a handling block from the receptacle of a device, while holding a projecting means pressed by a spring by the rise of a device, to prevent an eyeglass lens from accompanying the block by push-fitting the handling block pressed against the lens into the receptacle, and pressing a projecting means provided at the device against the lens. CONSTITUTION: The arm 16 of a device 15 is vertically movable and provided with a receptacle 18, into which the end piece 14 of a handling block 12 is push-fitted. A projecting means 24 is provided outside of the receptacle 18, its projecting fingers 25 being energized by a spring in an extending direction. When the arm 16 is moved downward, first an eyeglass lens 10 on a plate 11 is pressed by the projecting fingers 25 and is energized by the spring and then the handling block 12 is pressed against the lens 10 and attracted thereto. When the arm 16 is raised, the fingers 25 are held pressed against the lens 10 by the spring action and the block 12 is disengaged from the receptacle 18 while the lens 10 with the block 12 held attracted thereto does not accompany the block 12.
